I recorded this sound at school by spinning a music sheet stand in circles. I thought it sounded like it could be used for something, and many people say it sounds like an old wooden fan, so i uploaded it.

Microphone was placed about 6 inches from the unit, right below the top vents where the air comes out. Some very low frequency rumble was attenuated slightly.
